America Institue of Africa
Our Curriculum Overview
A commitment to excellence
The America Institute of Africa aims at offering all our students a broad and balanced curriculum that provides rewarding and stimulating activities to prepare them for the best social and cultural life.
MODE OF STUDIES
REGULAR FULL TIME MODE
This is an approach for regular full time students who reside in town to attend lectures and face academic activities on daily basis, not entertaining the distractions of job and family pressures. These candidates are not usually self sponsored as they may not be able to combine studies with work for earning a living.
EVENING CLASS MODE
Candidates who are gainfully employed and are self sponsored find this mode most suitable as it allows them retain their jobs while actively involved in further studies. Lectures are scheduled in the evenings on daily basis after candidates might have closed at work.
INDEPENDENT STUDENT MODE
This approach is exclusively for mature candidates who have acquired much on-the-job experience relevant to the indicated course of study. Such students study privately with AIA University Modules and Course Materials and appear on campus for end of semester examinations. This mode is suitable for candidates who are gainfully employed and self sponsored
